South Bank Cricket Club won the toss and elected to field
Roasting. Absolutely roasting.
VCC lost to old rivals Southbank on a hot day in Dulwich.
@grahampontin shined scoring a 50 and actually playing good cut shots as all others dropped around him. The only real partnership with @eklavyagupte, who hit some lovely drives, as they put on over a 100 together. Sadly the tail didnt wag and VCC were all out for an under par 151.
VCC opened tightly with @giles.tupper and new boy Kasper. Thereafter, they started to score more freely. Only @edwardfrancis62 and @b_husain stemmed the runs in the middle order, both unlucky not to get more wickets.
@grahampontin again shining in the field, with a catch and run out. As Southbank inched towards the target the runs dried up and they only got there in the penultimate over making for some slight last minute drama. Usual @dominos_uk to end the night.
